Special Events

  •  Annual Golf Tournament - Scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, 2009.  Details are in the brochure.  If you have any questions or would like to volunteer on this committee, please contact one of the Board of Directors located in the Contact Us page.

Congratulations to everyone who helped with 2009's Annual Golf Tournament!  We had a lot of fun with all 44 players who participated in the event!  It was a great success raising $3,849!!! 

 

  •  Christmas Social - Instead of holding a general membership meeting in the month of December, TAHU has an evening social for all the members to network, relax, and enjoy the evening.  There is a minimal door charge for the event and the money raised is donated to the Angel Tree.  This is TAHU's way of helping those less fortunate to have a wonderful Christmas.

2009 Christmas Social will be held at il Bacio located at 91st & Memorial.  Profits will be donated to the Salvation Army Angel Tree.  The cost is $10, which will include one drink ticket for either a glass of beer or wine.  Food will also be provided.  There are also opportunities to donate additional money to the Angel Tree if you would like.  Please RSVP by December 9th.  We hope to see all of our members there....and bring a guest, it's for a good cause!! 

 

Great News - The TAHU Annual Christmas Social/Angel Tree Event held December 10th at Il Bacio was a big success.

TAHU donated $3,000 to the Salvation Army!

Teesa Shouse, our Programs and Education Chair, had the pleasure of delivering the check to a bell ringer at Petty’s in Utica Square.  We had approximately 50 members and guests attend the event.  Thanks to all the sponsors and attendees who made this gift possible. See photo and party pics below.

  • Walk for Wellness -TAHU sponsors an annual Walk for Wellness, however, we do not have a volunteer to Chair the event.  April 26, 2008 was our last Walk and it was the 2nd walk for TAHU.
